Day-by-Day Itinerary

1. 01Day

   Amman — Easy Arrival Day

   Afternoon: Arrival, light orientation walk to the Hashemite Plaza and Roman Theatre (flat, short, good first stop), ice cream on Rainbow Street.

   Evening: Hotel with a pool; early dinner and rest after travel.

   Overnight: Amman, family room or connecting rooms, 4★ hotel with pool

2. 02Day

   Jerash — Ajloun Zipline

   Morning: Jerash, framed for kids as a scavenger hunt (chariot-track photo stop at the Hippodrome, counting columns on the Cardo) rather than a straight history lecture.

   Afternoon: Ajloun Forest Reserve zipline — a shorter, lower children's line (from age 6 / 120cm) runs alongside the main 330m adult line, so parents and kids can both ride.

   Overnight: Amman or Ajloun family cabin

3. 03Day

   Dead Sea — Pool & Float Day

   Full day: Transfer to a Dead Sea resort with a water park or multiple pools alongside beach access — deliberately chosen over an adults-oriented spa resort. Floating (a guaranteed hit with most kids), mud play, and pool time with no fixed schedule.

   Overnight: Dead Sea, family resort with water park / kids' pool

4. 04Day

   Ma'in Hot Springs — Karak Castle — Petra

   Morning: Hammamat Ma'in's warm waterfalls, which kids can swim under directly — consistently one of the most popular family stops in Jordan and far more interactive than a standard hot-spring soak.

   Afternoon: A short, story-led stop at Karak Castle (your guide frames it around the Crusader-era "knights and castles" narrative for younger children) en route to Petra.

   Overnight: Wadi Musa (Petra), family room, 4★ hotel with pool

5. 05Day

   Petra — Treasure-Hunt Day

   Morning: Petra via horse-drawn carriage for the first stretch of the Siq (included, optional for younger or tired children), then a guide-led trail using a kid-oriented spotting sheet — identifying carved urns, tomb facades, and Nabataean channel work — rather than standard commentary.

   Afternoon: Free time at the Basin for lunch and a donkey or camel photo stop; older kids/teens can continue to the Monastery, younger children can turn back with one parent.

   Overnight: Wadi Musa (Petra), 4★ hotel with pool

6. 06Day

   Wadi Rum — Desert Camp Night

   Afternoon: Transfer to Wadi Rum; a shorter, activity-based jeep tour (sand-dune running, a short camel ride, one or two key stops rather than a long multi-stop circuit).

   Evening: Family-friendly camp with proper toilets/showers, a group dinner, and a simple stargazing session pitched for kids (constellation stories rather than technical astronomy).

   Overnight: Wadi Rum, family-friendly camp (private tents with en-suite facilities)

7. 07Day

   Wadi Rum — Aqaba Glass-Bottom Boat — Departure

   Morning: Breakfast in camp, transfer to Aqaba.

   Midday: Glass-bottom boat trip over Aqaba's coral reefs — no swimming skill required, a reliable favorite with younger children — before transfer to the airport.

• Children 2–5: approx. 35% of the adult rate (mainly transport and activity seats; most hotels do not charge for under-6s sharing an existing bed)
• Children 6–11: approx. 50% of the adult rate
• Children under 12 enter Petra free during daylight hours and receive free or half-price entry at most other sites on this route — already reflected in the child rate above
• Ages 12+ are priced at the adult rate but qualify for the same room-sharing arrangement
